Catering Manager

Role Overview

As Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing, ensuring smooth operations, excellent food standards, and outstanding customer experience. You will oversee orders from start to finish, coordinate staff and deliveries, and help drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Catering Operations
- Manage orders from enquiry to delivery/collection
- Plan and organise catering schedules to ensure orders are prepared on time
- Ensure correct portioning, presentation, packaging, and food quality
- Oversee stock levels and ordering for catering-related items

Customer Service & Sales
- Handle customer enquiries
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and repeat business

Team Management
- Lead and supervise staff during prep and service
- Organise rotas and staffing requirements for events
- Train team members on food prep, packaging, hygiene, and service standards
- Maintain a positive and productive working environment

Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high food hygiene standards at all times
- Ensure all operations comply with health and safety requirements
- Monitor food wastage and improve efficiency
- Keep the area organised, clean, and well-managed

Business Growth
- Help develop catering menus and meal packages
- Support marketing initiatives (promotions, flyers, business outreach)
- Track performance and report on sales and improvements
